What We Do
Prestige Billing Co. is a premium insurance billing service that specializes in Behavioral Health providers. Our first priority is our client, and we will stop at nothing to ensure the best experience possible. We know that insurance billing is a complex and stressful part of a therapists’ work, which is why we do our part to make sure that the only thing you have to worry about, is your patient’s.
We can work in a multitude of ways that best fits your personal needs- we provide the option to use our premium clearinghouse or we can use your existing program. We will work together to fit into the mold of your needs, and never the other way around. Our services include credentialing, billing revenue process, consultation, and patient invoicing.

Who We Are
Chae McCahon, Owner/President
Client relations, Billing & Credentialing Specialist
Born in Los Angeles, Chae was raised in Santa Fe before attending the University of New Mexico, where she graduated with two bachelor’s Degrees, in Advertising and Psychology. After graduating from college in 2012, she was offered a position managing and billing for a small psychologist’s practice in Albuquerque and has been in the industry ever since.
Chae has vast experience in working with Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial payers. Chae is well versed in following up on claim denial, verification, and authorizations, making sure accounts receivable does not age past an acceptable range, claims corrections and rejections, payment posting, and patient invoicing, and account management.
After the birth of her second son in 2019, Chae decided to strike out on her own, by starting Prestige Billing Co., in which she has found pride and passion in developing her relationship with her clients and constantly growing her knowledge of the industry. Her hobbies include being with family and friends, reading, traveling, biking, home improvement, and baking.
Steven Moya
Billing Manager
Steven was born and raised in Santa Fe, NM. He spent a majority of his career in the customer service/retail business and it wasn’t until 2017 when he was hired by a local medical billing company that he found his true calling. After working 2 years in the medical billing field, he wanted to broaden his knowledge about the industry. In 2019 he completed the Medical Billing and Coding courses at Carrington College and in 2021 he completed the requirements set forth by the National Healthcare Association as a Certified Billing and Coding Specialist. His main area of expertise is in Behavioral Health, but he also has experience in PCP billing and urgent care billing.
When he is not working, he loves spending time with his family and loves going on walks with his 2 huskies. He is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoys going to games. He also loves watching and betting on sports.
James Anzara
Billing Specialist
James was born in Albuquerque, NM and was raised in the Isleta Pueblo. Pre billing, James worked in Maintenance and HVAC until he decided he needed a change of pace and went back to school. After receiving his certificate in coding and billing in 2020, James worked for two years to expand his expertise before finding his place at Prestige.
In his free time, James enjoys hunting, fishing and being outdoors.
Natacia Velasco
Billing Specialist
Born and raised In Albuquerque, NM, Natacia graduated from the Medical Billing & Coding Program at Carrington College. After spending seven years expanding her knowledge and gaining experience, Natacia decided to join prestige and continue providing her quality service. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and pets.
Isabel Huerta
Billing Specialist
Isabel was born and raised in Broomfield, Colorado along with her 6 siblings. In 2017 she attended The University of New Mexico, where she met her husband Fernando who played Ice Hockey at the university with her eldest brother. She and Fernando have a 1 year old son, a boxer puppy and a Holland lop bunny.
Isabel comes from a local Mortgage Brokerage where she worked as a Licensed MLO and a Loan Processing manager for the last 4 years. She’s passionate about client experience and procedure and is extremely excited to branch out into the Medical billing world!
Isabel enjoys being with her family and watching the Colorado Avalanche NHL team.
Samantha Chang-Salmon
Receptionist/Administrative Assistant
Samantha graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University with her bachelor's degree in forensic psychology. She is in the process of launching an online bridal boutique.
Samantha and her husband reside in Albuquerque with their three dogs and cat. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching tv and movies, participating in community theatre, and playing dungeons and dragons.
Crystal Harris-Padilla
Billing Specialist, Eligibility & Benefits Guru
Crystal was born in Tennessee but grew up in NM. Her early career was in the restaurant industry where she met her husband, Johnathan. Shortly after, she then spent her career serving the dental community as an administrative assistant specializing in benefits and eligibility.
In 2017, after getting married, she decided to leave dental behind and try something different. She found a position within a very small private billing company working for the largest opioid treatment facility and that is where she found her passion in billing for the behavioral health community. After 6 years with them, her boss decided it was time for him to retire so Crystal began the hunt to continue her career in behavioral health billing and that when she came onboard with PBC!
Besides working with PBC, she owns a childrens boutique, that she started in 2022 to help with fertility treatments. She also enjoys gaming with her husband, hiking with their dog Tundra, and spending time with close friends
Samantha Kopleman
Billing Specialist
Sam was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She moved out to Illinois to attend Knox College, where she graduated with honors with a dual degree in Psychology and French. After graduation, she moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota where she began working in the healthcare industry helping customers navigate the complicated world of health insurance, and then went on to work in provider relations assisting behavioral health providers with their billing needs.
Outside of work, she loves cooking, taking dance classes, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Zaileen Gillani-Hasham
Billing and Credentialing Specialist
Zaileen was born in Africa and was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She previously worked in customer service, collections and later worked as a mortgage loan processor. Her attention to detail and organization skills made her the perfect fit for credentialing. Outside of work, Zaileen likes to spend time with family and friends.
Rosie Loya
Billing Specialist
Rosie was born in Fort Benning, Georgia and raised in New Mexico since the age of 10.
She started her career as a hostess in a steak house to support her son, and shortly moved to the hectic world of hotels and hospitality. After managing the front desk at a 5-star hotel for 3 years, Rosie found it was time to slow down and find a career that better suited her son and his extra curriculars, leading her to a small medical billing practice. After 2 years with them, her boss decided it was time to retire and Rosie found PBC.
When she’s not working, she’s taking taekwondo and volunteering around the dojang where she attends classes with her 9 year old son and boyfriend.
